WESTFEST 2010:

On March 15, 2010, seventy-three Fleetwood motor home owners rolled into the Golden Village Palms RV Resort in Hemet, CA to a rousing welcome to WestFest 2010 the FMA Western Regional Rally. A number of attendees participated in the shuffleboard tournament while others took a tour of the wineries in the Temecula area. Everyone enjoyed the entertainment and the music kept the line dancers and the swingers busy on the dance floor. The ladies enjoyed lunch followed by the fashion show which provided a lot of shopping for the ladies, all in the comfort of the ballroom. The Oh's and Ah's heard from the audience was quickly dashed when the model replied, "I bought it." However, there were racks and racks of lovely garments for the ladies to choose that special garment, and the prices were just right. Mike Thompson, the participating Fleetwood dealer from Santa Fe Springs, displayed a number of new Fleetwood motor homes each with a different floor plan. The attendees could look at all the new features inside and out, kick the tires and several attendees drove home in their brand new Fleetwood motor home.

The farewell dinner was held on the patio, by the pool, with great entertainment. At the close of the evening festivities, it was time to say "so long" to our new and old friends and look forward to 2011 when we will gather again for a fun filled rally at the same place.

The FMA Western Regional Rally has been scheduled for 2011 and 2012 at the Golden Village Palms RV Resort in Hemet, CA. Check out the rally schedule and get the 2011 registration form.
